P E R M I S S I O N S:
Out-of-Character
Fourthwalling: Yes! Please do! He's a Fable, and a powerful one at that meaning his stories are well known and popular. It would make IC sense for your character, if they are Earth based, to at least know a few children's stories involving the big bad wolf. His source stories include Little Red Riding Hood, Peter and the Wolf, The Three Little Pigs, and various Werewolf Myths.
Backtagging: I'm very bad at this! I try to draw threads out to natural conclusions, but if I drop a thread please don't take it personally.
Threadhopping: I won't likely ever do this, but if you want to threadhop into one of mine go ahead, I don't mind. :)

In-Character
Hugging: No, not generally, even with people he's friends with. He generally only initiates physical contact if necessary or in specific circumstances.
Kissing: Again, no, unless something specific is going on. He'll be weirded out.
Smutting: Probably not! He's not promiscuous, and when he finds a mate it's usually for long periods of time and therefore CR would be vital. In some rare situations CR may be assumed (such as for memes).
Fighting: Bigby is exceptionally strong, and violent. If you start a fight he will do whatever he needs to finish it.
Death: He is immortal and it takes a LOT to kill him. We'll need to plot first.
Happy Mentionings: Snow White, eating, tracking people/police work, the three little pigs, the Frog Prince, smoking, drinking, the outdoors
Unhappy Mentionings: Snow White, his parents, Ichabod Crane, the Black Forest, Bigby's past, the word "bitch" used derogatorily.

B A C K G R O U N D:
Bigby is one of seven pups born to the North Wind and Winter Wolf; he was the runt of the litter and grew a deep, murderous hate of his father who left Winter to die with her pups. He loved his mother dearly who had a special attachment to him, and was essentially the only kind influence in his formative years. He refused to learn the magical gifts of North Wind and instead remained fully wolf, never having learned how to shape shift. For many long years he ate bigger and bigger game, growing bigger and stronger himself, the most fierce and dangerous of all wolves. He became the Big Bad Wolf of fable legend, terrorizing and eating hundreds. At his full strength he is about the size of an Asian elephant in his wolf form.

Eventually there was an enemy called The Adversary who drove all the Fables from the worlds known as the Homelands, and onto the world of Earth. The non-magical people that lived there they called Mundanes, and the Fables vowed not to reveal themselves to the Mundanes. They built a town, eventually they called it Fabletown, located in the middle of New York City. There was an act of blanket amnesty for all the Fables and that included Bigby who was officially forgiven for all of his past crimes gobbling up the Fables as a wolf. Powerful magic gave him the ability to walk around in human form and to transform at will, and they made him Sheriff of Fabletown. His job: to keep the Fables from killing one another.

Unofficially, there is still a lot of resentment and fear toward Bigby, for his years as the Big Bad Wolf. Bigby doesn't do a great job of dissuading that fear even if it really is now unfounded. He's changed. Mostly. During those early years Bigby participated in both the first and second world wars working deep within enemy lines and using his unique abilities and strength to aid American forces and strategies. In more recent years, he solves smaller crimes around Fabletown and around the world intermittently.

The canon point I take Bigby from he has retired as Sheriff from Fabletown and is in exile. He had seven children with Snow White but the two are not together. Because the children are too animal like, they aren't allowed to live in Fabletown itself but rather must live with the rest of the animal Fables up at a place called The Farm. Bigby is not allowed on The Farm and thus not able to watch his children grow up. Angry, disillusioned, and mourning his situation he leaves and disappears into the wilderness until such a time as the Mayor of Fabletown recruits him for a dangerous mission back to the Homelands...

P E R S O N A L I T Y:
He is a reformed Big Bad Wolf. Bigby has a rough exterior and is known as a bully, and for good reason. He's very quick to anger in direct confrontations and he's always ready to use violence to solve problems. That being said, he is actually a good detective when he's calm. He has a keen eye for details and for putting clues together into viable evidence to form solid theories on crime cases. While he is the big bad wolf, Bigby believes in due order and justice, and genuinely goes out of his way to help other Fables with their problems. He is sometimes not sympathetic to those problems, but these days doesn't attack unless provoked first.

Outside of direct confrontation, Bigby is a master at subterfuge, warfare, tactics, and stratagem. His role of Sheriff in Fabletown often has him involved in complex and far reaching schemes that include the use of assassins, secret witch craft, international intrigue and even covert missions back to the Homelands. He thrives on keeping secrets and using secrets. This has a dual effect for those close to him: they can trust him completely to protect them and their secrets, but they also know that at any given time Bigby might be keeping secrets from them too. This personality trait doesn't endear him to many people especially combined with his grumpy and gruff demeanor as described above.

That being said, Bigby really is a loyal and affectionate pup when it comes to people he genuinely loves and cares about. His only real love, Snow White, he's ever gracious and gentle towards. He also goes out of his way to help friends out of problems, keep their secrets, and tries to do right by Fabletown and keep it safe. While he doesn't agree with a lot of things his friends do, Bigby is shown to be reliable and even compassionate where others aren't. He's a good judge of character, inquisitive, direct, and smart.

P O W E R S:
Many times in canon he's referred to as the God of Wolves, and it is meant literally. As wolf, part-wolf, or just human he's exceptionally strong and a powerful brawler. He also is able to heal exceptionally fast and from fatal injuries. He can take almost any amount of gunfire at close range and while it slows him, he can still fight. In human form Bigby still has a very profound sense of smell. For example he can tell whose blood has spilled simply by smelling it. True to the legends, silver does and can more grievously injure him.
